Fresh Farms announced a significant milestone in its journey of growth and expansion with the recent acquisition of a new farm in California. This expansion will allow the company to grow its California program as soon as the Sonora deal starts to wind down.

John MacDonald has been named vice president of marketing for The Giant Co., effective immediately. He will report directly to John Ruane, president of The Giant Co.

The California Avocado Commission initiated its annual June is California Avocado Month marketing program with media outreach and announcement activities in May.
