The U.S. Department of Agriculture imposed sanctions on EasyPeasy LLC for failing to meet contractual obligations to the seller of produce they purchased and failing to pay a reparation award issued under the Perishable Agricultural Commodities Act. These sanctions include suspending the business’s PACA license and barring the principal operator of the business from engaging in PACA-licensed business or other activities without approval from USDA.

On Nov. 15 the FDA released the Final Rule on FSMA Section 204, which contains the long-awaited regulations on record keeping for products on the Food Traceability List.
