The International Fresh Produce Association’s Global Produce & Floral Show has come to an end after three transformative days for fresh produce and floral.

In a celebration of leadership, innovation and generosity in California’s Salad Bowl of the World, David and Susan Gill were honored with the prestigious E.E. (Gene)  Harden Lifetime Achievement Award from the Grower-Shipper Association of Central California. The Oct. 3 event at TPC Pasadera brought together more than 275 local leaders, colleagues and industry peers, transforming the evening into a tribute to the Salinas Valley’s agricultural legacy and community spirit.

Cobblestone Fruit, under the Kings River Packing LP umbrella, announced the lease of a packinghouse facility in Reedley, CA from Eastside Packing. This strategic investment is part of Cobblestone Fruit’s long-term expansion plan to increase packing capacity and operational flexibility, further strengthening its ability to serve its grower base and retail partners.

The Fresh Produce & Floral Council is gearing up for its third annual Top Golf Tournament on Thursday, Oct. 30, promising a night of competition, camaraderie and fajitas under the lights. Matthew Hayes, FPFC’s program and events director, said the idea for the event was born three years ago as a way to give members a fresh, less formal networking opportunity.

Yesterday's general session at the IFPA Global Produce & Floral Show took off with a jolt of energy as Sarah Robb O’Hagan, renowned executive, entrepreneur, author and founder of Extreme Living, shared how the fresh produce industry can thrive in real time, in real life. Warning the audience that bold moves don’t always work out, she reflected on her past roles and shared how she managed to turn setbacks into opportunities for success. 

Braga Fresh, home of Josie’s Organics, exhibits at the International Fresh Produce Association’s 2025 Global Produce & Floral Show in Anaheim, Oct. 17-18. The company debuts as og companies with organic girl and Dole Fresh Vegetables/Bud Antle through the recent Arable Capital acquisition and merger in the Grower Shipper Pavilion, Hall D, booth No. 1067.
