Eagle Eye to showcase growth at this year’s IFPA show
Eagle Eye Produce, a leading shipper of potatoes and onions, has made extensive operational investments during the past year to facilitate growth of both categories.
“The IFPA show is one of the most important events of the year for us,” said Dallin Klingler, marketing and communications manager at the Idaho Fall, ID-based company. “We’re looking forward to showing off some of the growth, new facilities, expanded programs and investments in technology directly with our partners at the show.”
Klingler said Eagle Eye will be showcasing an expanded onion program with the addition of a new Ontario, OR, warehouse — one of the largest fresh-pack facilities in the Treasure Valley.
On the potato side, the company will feature the innovation taking place at its Idaho Falls facility, where technology powered by artificial intelligence is helping the company deliver consistent, high-quality packs year-round.
At the IFPA show, Klingler said Eagle Eye’s top priority is to strengthen relationships with existing customers while also seeking out opportunities with new retailers and foodservice partners.
“Over the past year we have expanded our retail capacity across potatoes, onions, mixed dry veg and watermelons,” he said. “So, a successful show for us means productive conversations that help us build out those programs further.”
As an Idaho-based company, Eagle Eye enjoys a strong presence in the West, and the location of this year’s IFPA show in Southern California carries some advantages.
“Eagle Eye’s footprint is concentrated in the western United States, with more than a dozen warehouses across Arizona, California, Nevada, Idaho, Washington, Oregon and Colorado,” added Klingler. “So being on the West Coast makes it easy for our team members to show up in full force. And we will have a large team at the show repping each of our commodity programs, joined by our executive leadership.”
Among those who will be in attendance are Coleman Oswald, director of sales; Joe Ange, director of onion sales; Steve Yubeta, director of mixed dry vegetable sales; and John Gee, vice president of sales, who oversees the watermelon program.
