Duda will be showcasing fresh cut and citrus lines at CPMA
Nichole Towell, director of marketing for Duda Farm Fresh Foods Inc., headquartered in Oviedo, FL, told The Produce News that the company is looking forward to the Canadian Produce Marketing Association Convention and Trade Show in Vancouver, BC, on April 2-4.
“Duda Farm Fresh is thrilled to showcase our fresh-cut celery and radish lines, as well as our full citrus line of Meyer Lemons, Navel oranges, clementines and grapefruits,” said Towell.
The company plans to have a sizable staff of team members on hand to greet customers and prospective customers at the CPMA. Company representatives will be at Booth No. 1001, including Rick Alcocer, senior vice president of fresh sales; Susan Noritake, director of fresh-cut sales; Tim Ross, regional sales manager; Rich Uchida, western sales manager; John Castro, director of category development and research; and Elena Hernandez, marketing manager.
Towell said that Duda Farm Fresh Foods finds many benefits in attending both shows.
“The primary benefit of attending the CMPA show is that it provides us with an opportunity to interact face-to-face with our Canadian customers,” she said. “It also allows us the added benefit of staying abreast to what is on-trend in Canada year after year.”
Towell noted that Duda Farm Fresh Foods continues to encourage consumers in America and in Canada — via social media channels including Facebook, Twitter and Pinterest — to consume the company’s “Dandy” brand products, “particularly with convenience items being showcased at the expo,” she said. “Duda’s convenience products use unique packaging that makes the product easier to pick up, provides resealable storage options, is proportioned to just the right amount for consumers and the items look beautiful when merchandised on the retail shelf.”
