A family business, North American is now managed by brothers Steven and Larry Davidson, the third generation to run the business. What will leadership look like in the coming decade? The Wholesale Florist & Florist Supplier Association has selected that topic as keynote for its annual Floral Distribution Conference in Miami Oct. 24-26.

Clementines and Navel oranges from South Africa arrived June 26 at the Gloucester Terminal in Gloucester City, NJ, on the refrigerated vessel, Iberian Reefer, with 2,621 pallets of citrus comprised of 1,096 pallets of clementines and 1,525 pallets of Navel oranges. The fruit will be distributed to supermarkets and other retail stores across the United States.

Toronto — The Ontario Produce Marketing Association held its Annual General Meeting, June 13 at the Ontario Food Terminal’s Market Garden Restaurant. The meeting focused on key work underway by the association, including industry training, marketing efforts to increase consumption of produce in Ontario, government relations and industry networking events.
