If a trade show that draws 56,000 visitors from 125 countries and approximately 2,500 exhibiting companies from 80 countries sounds overwhelming, well it can be for first-time visitors to the annual Fruit Logistica in Berlin. In 2013, the expo is being held Feb. 6-8.

Despite the size and number of attendees, the Fruit Logistica committee goes to great lengths to ensure that all visitors can find their way to and from the show and through the halls with minimal confusion.

Shuman Produce in Reidsville, GA, is riding a hot streak into the New York Produce Show. Already a leading player in the sweet onion market and one of the nation’s top producers of Vidalia onions, Shuman claimed the title of Peruvian onion import leader this season.

Louis Hymel, director of purchasing and marketing for Spice World Inc., headquartered in Orlando, FL, said the company has exhibited at the New York Produce Show & Conference since the first show in 2010.
