Del Campo Supreme rolls out new products
Del Campo Supreme Inc. has introduced two new packaged vegetable products.
Jimmy Munguia said the firm is offering new sweet baby Bell peppers in consumer bags, and a “T’mates” brand consumer-boxed cocktail tomato-on-vine.
“T’mates” 11.5-ounce boxes have a viewing window on the top and otherwise indicate Del Campo’s history and the firm’s strong position on environmental-friendliness. “People like the flavor and the presentation,” said Munguia, who is the sales manager of the firm. Del Campo is headquartered in Culiacan, Sinaloa, and has a large distribution facility in Nogales.
Munguia said the new resealable sweet baby Bell pepper bags are available in one or two-pound bags. The peppers are red, orange and yellow “with a really nice flavor that is very, very consistent. They are super-sweet.”
Del Campo produces vegetables in greenhouses and shade houses located in Sinaloa and Jalisco. Sinaloa production runs from December through May and Jalisco production runs from May until January. Del Campo also has production in San Luis Potosi and Torreon.
Munguia said grape and Roma tomatoes are “the largest part” of Del Campo’s vegetable volume.
Most of Del Campo’s vegetables are available on a 12-month basis.
