Tropical activity has calmed in both the Atlantic and Pacific basin with no potential formation expected this week. Tropical Depression Chantal brought heavy precipitation across the Mid-Atlantic and Southeast. Current forecasts continue to bring heavy precipitation to this region throughout the week. This will once again affect the various supplies across the region.

The first grapes shipping from California’s San Joaquin Valley will see some overlap with the last of Mexico’s crop, but Grapeco Farms Co-owner Jared Lance said the high quality of both crops is a good sign for retail demand for the fruit from California.
