Kurt Zuhlke & Associates return to CPMA highlighting core packaging strengths
Kurt Zuhlke & Associates will once again bring its proven packaging solutions to the Canadian Produce Marketing Association show, where the Easton, PA-based company will exhibit at booth No. 1427.
A longtime participant at the event, the company views CPMA as an important opportunity to connect with customers across Canada and the northern United States, while reinforcing relationships that have been built over decades.
“We go to make contact with customers in Canada and the northern parts of the United States,” said Kurt Zuhlke, president of the company. “We find a lot of our Northeast customers there, so it’s a good place for us to be.”
Zuhlke will once again attend the show with his family, continuing a tradition that has become a hallmark of the company’s presence at industry events.
“My wife, myself and my son Christopher will all be there,” he said.
At the booth, visitors can expect to see a full display of the company’s packaging offerings, which continue to focus on functionality, durability and efficiency for produce applications.
“The booth will have a collection of everything we offer, same as always,” Zuhlke said.
Among those offerings, clamshell-style packaging remains a cornerstone of the company’s product line and continues to perform well across the industry.
“All the containers that have a lid attached to them, the clamshell styles, are still very favorable throughout the industry,” Zuhlke said. “We’re going to stick with them and keep pushing forward.”
That consistency reflects the company’s broader philosophy of focusing on reliable, proven packaging solutions while continuing to evaluate new ideas carefully.
“We see things that are trending, but we’re not always sure which way they’re going to go,” Zuhlke said. “So, we focus on what we know works and what our customers need.”
The addition of Zuhlke’s son to the business has also provided a big boost as the company looks to expand its reach and strengthen customer engagement.
“With Chris added on now, we have more people to go after the business we want,” Zuhlke said. At CPMA, the team will take a hands-on approach to connecting with attendees, balancing time at the booth with outreach across the show floor.
“We do both,” Zuhlke said. “One or two of us will stay at the booth, and then we’ll go out and meet with customers. Chris is new, so he wants to be part of those conversations as well.”
The company sees the show as a valuable venue not only for maintaining relationships but also for identifying opportunities for growth within its core markets.
While 2026 has presented some challenges for the broader produce industry, Zuhlke noted that conditions are improving as the year progresses.
Looking ahead, Kurt Zuhlke & Associates is continuing to explore new packaging concepts, with the possibility of introducing additional innovations in the near future.
“We’re working on some new things,” Zuhlke said. “We may show something at the Canadian show and then introduce it more broadly after that.”
For now, the focus remains on delivering dependable packaging solutions and strengthening connections with customers across key markets.
“We’ll be there, meeting people and doing what we do,” Zuhlke said.
