Fresh Del Monte and Mann Packing Co. showcasing new products at CPMA
The Fresh Del Monte and Mann Packing Co. team is excited to be participating in the Canadian Produce Marketing Association’s trade show again this year.
“As proud sponsors of the CPMA show, we will be exhibiting a number of new items at our booth and participating in the showcase,” said Ella Peterson, senior manager, brand marketing for Fresh Del Monte and Mann Packing Co. “Like with many trade events, our goals for these types of events are multifaceted. Not only do we strive to connect with key industry partners like retailers, buyers and suppliers, but we take this opportunity to announce and highlight our innovation, in addition to showcasing our brands to a broader audience.”
Fresh Del Monte and Mann Packing Co. have attended CPMA for 15 years, as this is a very important trade show for both.
“This year specifically, we have a robust team that will be in attendance, including members of our sales and marketing teams, along with our senior vice president, sales, US HQ sales, Jesus Rodriguez Calvo,” Peterson said.
Attendees can visit Fresh Del Monte and Mann Packing Co. at booth No. 601, where they can find extensive information on the companies’ supply chain process, transportation systems and product catalogue.
“We will showcase various new launches for each brand. For Fresh Del Monte, expect to see the Pinkglow Pineapple, Honeyglow Pineapple, Del Monte Zero Pineapple, Grandissimo Gold Pineapple, Mezete Hummus, Del Monte Breakfast Bowls and Smoothies and Fresh Peeled Citrus,” Peterson said. “For Mann Packing Co., we’ll be showcasing the all-new Mann Air Fryer Kit product, Better Green Leaf lettuces, Snap Peas, Better Pasta and Steakhouse Style.
Sampling will be available for its Pinkglow Pineapple, Mezete Hummus and Mann Air Fryer Kit products as well.
“We have a cross-functional team working on preparing for the show, including members of our marketing, sales and supply chain departments, in addition to executive leadership,” Peterson said. “We plan to discuss industry trends, innovation and distribution opportunities, and understanding our customers and suppliers needs — all important factors that contribute to the company’s success.”
Based on past experience, the brands have found strong booth engagement helps foster better communication and connection with industry partners.
“When we connect with key personnel and showcase our array of products in-person, we believe it opens pathways for new opportunities with different retailers, buyers and suppliers,” Peterson said.
Both Del Monte and Mann Packing have a ton of great innovation ready to ship now and more coming in the future. The focus in 2023 is on being agile and smarter, optimizing assets across all the functions of the businesses.
