‘Connect and Grow’ at FPFC North Expo
The Fresh Produce & Floral Council’s Northern California Expo is set for April 9 at the Alameda County Fairgrounds in Pleasanton, CA.
The theme of the expo is “Connect and Grow.” Anticipated attendance is over 1,500 professionals from across all sectors of the fresh produce and floral industry, Carissa Mace, FPFC president, said.
“The Northern California FPFC Expo is the market’s most important networking event,” Mace said. “Kept compact by design, it allows retailers and foodservice professionals to connect with existing vendors and suppliers and grow their networks while learning about upcoming consumer promotions as well as new products, and future packaging and branding changes.”
New this year is a Pre-Expo Cocktail Reception April 8 at the Hilton Pleasanton. It offers another opportunity for exhibitors and attendees to connect and network before the main event the next day.
The show has grown in popularity and size since it began in 2007. Among the 158 exhibitors this year, 34 are floral companies, according to Mace. It is one of the few industry events that invite store-level floral managers and staff to connect with growers and suppliers.
Retail store personnel from floral and produce departments and foodservice personnel qualify for free admission.
