Joe Vargas has been hired as the director of business intelligence for the U.S. Highbush Blueberry Council and North American Blueberry Council. In this newly created role, Vargas is responsible for developing and leading a best-in-class data and insights program for the blueberry industry.

Naturipe’s blackberry growing season in Georgia is set to start mid-May and will last through early July with high-quality, delicious berries. Peak volumes are expected through the month of June.

Naturipe, one of the world’s largest producers of fresh berries, announced the beginning of the organic blueberry peak with large volumes available now through June. Organic volumes are perfectly timed with the temporary slowdown in conventional production that is projected later this month.
