WSJ says Mission stock is the avocado toast of the town
Oxnard, CA-based Mission Produce Inc. began its journey as a public company Oct. 1, 2020, with the initial public offering of 8 million share of its common stock on the NASDAQ Stock Market under the symbol AVO. The IPO opened at $12 and closed on its first day at $13.80, an initial one-day gain of 15 percent. Earlier today the stock was $20, up more than 60 percent from the initial public offering. Mission's stock has gained the attention of investors, and now The Wall Street Journal is looking to help spread the good word.
