The Controlled Environment Agriculture Alliance has announced a new chairman, treasurer and directors elected to serve on its board of directors for 2026. Members were announced at the Alliance Annual Meeting, immediately before the Indoor Ag-Con show in Las Vegas.

The U.S. Department of Agriculture has filed an administrative complaint against Solstice Growers LLC. The company, operating from Texas, allegedly failed to make payment promptly to nine produce sellers in the amount of $308,849 from December 2023 through February 2025, in violation of the Perishable Agricultural Commodities Act.

Kapi Kapi Growers has hired Lawrence Danielka as business development manager. Danielka joined the Kapi Kapi team on Jan. 5 and will support the company’s continued growth by identifying new business opportunities and strengthening customer partnerships across key categories.

Valentine’s Day this Saturday marks the beginning of the floral peak season. As it does every year, C.H. Robinson, a global logistics company, is set to move up to 10 million boxes of flowers – representing roughly one of every four fresh floral units sold at retail – helping deliver bouquets across the country.

The company specializes in managing complex, temperature-sensitive supply chains.
