Christine Fries joins the Jersey Fresh team
The New Jersey Department of Agriculture’s marketing and development division announced that Christine Fries has joined the team as an agricultural marketing specialist.
In this role, Fries will support the Department of Agriculture and "Jersey Fresh" brand by providing marketing advice and assistance,
supporting market expansion and development programs and participating in the design and implementation of promotional and educational materials and activities. In addition, she will develop and manage the Jersey Fresh social media plan.
Fries is a marketing and communications professional with experience in developing and implementing plans and initiatives that support and enhance business strategies while aligning with the brand. Prior to joining the department, Fries was a marketing contractor for American Water Resources, a subsidiary of American Water, the largest publicly traded U.S. water and wastewater utility company, where she managed the company’s digital marketing and public relations strategy.
Before that, she was vice president for Sun National Bank, the second-largest New Jersey-based bank, where she held several marketing and communications positions that supported the bank’s brand through traditional and digital marketing campaigns, social media, Web, event planning, public relations and community relations. She earned a bachelor's degree in business with a concentration in marketing from The College of New Jersey in Ewing, NJ.
