Avocados from Mexico spices up football season with Guac Fiesta
Avocados from Mexico is partnering with Old El Paso during the prime football season and leading up to the Super Bowl with its Guac Fiesta campaign. Launching nationwide and running from Dec. 16, 2014 to Feb. 1, 2015, the Guac Fiesta campaign will feature a variety of consumer-focused marketing efforts to encourage retailers and consumers to spice up their fiestas and win big.
“This Guac Fiesta campaign will showcase how Avocados from Mexico owns guacamole during the biggest guacamole-consumption event of the year,” Alvaro Luque, president of AFM, said in a press release. “This promotion and partnership will give our consumers the perfect excuse to get together and incorporate the versatile, always-in-season avocados from Mexico into their football parties.”
The campaign will be supported with a consumer contest, consumer savings, a digital and social media campaign, and with in-store support, including a retail contest, in-store radio and a new unique molcajete produce bin.
Consumers can take advantage of in-store and online savings, as well as enter for a chance to win a prize pack to host their own Guac Fiesta, a value of $3,500. The prize pack includes a $1,000 grocery gift card, a $2,500 gift card for fiesta supplies and a bundle of branded materials. Consumers can enter to win by visiting AvoFan.com.
Retailers will also have a chance to win big based on Guac Fiesta display designs. More information about Avocados from Mexico and the Guac Fiesta campaign is available at www.avocadosfrommexico.com.
