Orchard View Cherries, a fourth-generation grower based in The Dalles, OR, is gearing up for a promising 2026 season, with harvest anticipated in the second week of June following a favorable growing cycle. The company expects to pack approximately 1.2 million boxes of premium cherries this season.

The International Fresh Produce Association opened registration for the 2026 Global Produce & Floral Show, taking place Oct. 14–16 in Orlando, FL. The U.S. Department of Agriculture has filed an administrative complaint against Ganfer Fresh LLC. The company, operating out of Arizona, allegedly failed to make payment promptly to 36 produce sellers in the amount of $3.775 million from May 2024 through February 2025, in violation of the Perishable Agricultural Commodities Act.
