Christopher Ranch offers 100 percent U.S.-grown garlic to its customers, delivering from coast- to-coast out of its Gilroy, CA-based headquarters and through its East Coast operations in New Jersey, with the company a regular at the Hunts Point Market.

The company has associated with many of the same customers in Hunts Point since it opened the New Jersey facility in 1992, and some of its customers there were with them before it established a facility on the East Coast. 

While talking about the Hunts Point Produce Market, Joshua Gatcke of Nathel & Nathel remembered bringing a new employee there for the first time a few years ago and walking through the market’s main buying office.

Rice Fruit Co., located in the heart of Pennsylvania’s apple country, is looking back at 2020 as a year that reinforced its commitment to food safety, the health and well-being of its staff, and flexibility to pack what the customer needs. 

S. Katzman Produce has been operating out of the Hunts Point Market for more than five decades and knows what it takes to be a success.

“New Yorkers like it all so we need to have it all,” said Stefanie Katzman, executive vice president at S. Katzman Produce. “That means all products all the time, including the next new product that hasn’t even made it to the supermarket shelves yet. And we have that here.”
