The International Fresh Produce Association has officially opened it’s registration for it’s annual Global Produce and Floral Show happening Oct. 17-19 in Atlanta.    

The Canadian Produce Marketing Association Convention & Trade Show will be in Vancouver this year on April 23-25 at the beautiful Vancouver Convention Center and Village Farms Fresh has much to celebrate. This time frame happens to coincide with the initial harvesting of Village Farms’ new local British Columbia-grown crop.

More than 2,700 attendees took part in this year's Viva Fresh Expo in Houston, which was held April 11-13. The large number of people in attendance was a record for the Texas International Produce Association's ninth annual event. With roughly 200 exhibiting companies on the trade show floor, the 425 retail and foodservice buyers present had plenty to keep them busy.

Hutch Morton, senior vice president of the Toronto-based company, noted 2024 has seen a little slower start than the previous year, but much of that has been weather and product related.

HOUSTON – The Texas International Produce Association held its ninth annual Viva Fresh Expo on April 11-13, here, drawing more than 2,700 attendees, setting a new record for attendance for the event. Among the attendees were 425 retail and foodservice buyers, who interacted with the nearly 200 exhibitors on the trade show floor. Houston proved to be a popular destination, with its vibrant downtown and close proximity to major attractions, and Viva Fresh will return to Space City in 2025.

The beginning of 2024 has been incredibly promising for Red Sun Farms.
