Mother Earth will soon be headed to the Organic Produce Summit, with a trio of team members — Meghan Klotzbach, vice president of sales, marketing and operations; Tom Leo, sales and procurement manager; and Mark Kreiner, outside sales coordinator — at booth No. 219. “We will be displaying our current assortment with a key focus on exotic mushrooms,” Kreiner said.

With little time remaining before the Organic Produce Summit begins on July 13, more than 1,400 confirmed attendees have registered, which will make the 2022 version the largest show ever in its history dating back to its inception in 2016.

International Fresh Produce Association’s Foodservice Conference is coming up on July 28-29 in Monterey, California. It is the “can’t miss” event for produce and foodservice and this year will be packed with buyers and suppliers looking to connect and conduct business.

The New England Produce Council has announced the moderator and panelists for the Educational Breakfast Panel Session during its annual expo this August.

This year, 11 participants completed the third annual Viva Fresh Clean Eating Challenge, which culminated at the Viva Fresh Expo last month. Since 2020, the challenge has captured the attention of the produce industry as participants challenge themselves every year to incorporate more fruits and vegetables into their daily routines. As a welcome bonus, participants have lost more than 1,000 pounds in the three years of the challenge and have enjoyed even more positive side effects.
