As a special treat this holiday season, the New York Apple Association’s spokespuppet, Bob for Apples from New York, will showcase his culinary skills and love for all New York-grown apples on the ApplesfromNY.com website and social media.

He will share breaking news from the in-studio NYAA Kitchen, where apples are always cooking and brewing. He will also feature desserts and pairings using New York apples.

Even folks from Philadelphia love New York. Well, at least the New York Produce Show.

Tom Kovacevich, president of TMK Produce, said this month show is always a highlight of the year, giving his team, and many like it, the opportunity to not only shine, but to engage with all types of retailers — big and small.

That is the philosophy of officials at Fowler Farms, the Wolcott, N.Y.-based grower, as it gets ready for the New York Produce Show in the midst of celebrating its 165th year in business.

Shuman Farms is looking forward to exhibiting at this year’s Eastern Produce Council’s annual NY Produce Show, a highlight on the yearly trade show calendar for the team.
