Mission Produce Inc. released insights on the thriving category performance of organic avocados in the U.S. ahead of the Organic Produce Summit in Monterey, CA, July 10-11.

Sherry Frey, vice president of total wellness at NielsenIQ, will be the keynote speaker at this year's Organic Produce Summit. She will explore the impact of shifting consumer demographics, demands on organic produce and how the industry can continue to identify new marketing opportunities.

The Giumarra Cos. expanded its organic avocado program tailored for grocery retailers and foodservice operators. The company will feature organic avocados at the upcoming Organic Produce Summit in Monterey, CA.
