The International Fresh Produce Association hosted its first ever Global Produce & Floral Show in Orlando, FL last week.  The show brought together the entire global supply chain for produce and floral.

The International Fresh Produce Association's inaugural Global Produce & Floral Show got off to a great start yesterday, bringing the industry back together for another massive October show. After a day of general and educational sessions, produce industry members gathered at the Hyatt Regency Orlando Hotel for the welcome reception to network, reconnect and kick-off the conference.

The second general session at the IFPA Global Produce & Floral Show offered up a dynamic panel discussion from global thought leaders on consumer trends at retail, covering everything from innovation and e-commerce to labor and supply chain challenges. It was an expansive conversation, and one not complete without the hot topic that is inflation.

Playing to a full house, Cathy Burns greeted the fresh produce industry for the first time as International Fresh Produce Association CEO at the inaugural Global Produce & Floral Show.

Tropical fruit has never been more popular, thanks in part to the Covid pandemic that altered the consumption behaviors of consumers across the United States and around the world. And while the pandemic is largely in the rearview mirror, the popularity of exotic fruits remains strong, which is welcome news to HLB Specialties.
