Alexandra Farms debuts new wedding guide
Alexandra Farms, a boutique rose farm in Bogota, Colombia, dedicated to growing nostalgic and romantic garden roses, announced the release of its newest Garden Rode Wedding Guide. It features detailed information on over 40 cut garden rose varieties from major breeders including David Austin, Tantau, Kordes, Meilland and Delbard among others, according to a news release.
Along with colorful pictures, the guide has key information on vase life, fragrance, care and handling and event conditioning. Each page is dedicated to an individual variety and includes a picture showing each day’s bloom stage, and notes the flower’s fragrance and its hardiness. Designers and florists will find the guide to be a useful tool for both consultations and inspiration.
“Fantastic,” said Chris McCoy from Parsons’ Florist in Orangeville, ON. “Our brides will love this guide to help them choose the perfect roses.”
Also included is coverage of new varieties like Constance, a David Austin English Garden rose, and Ashley, a German garden rose. Bouquet ideas and designs made with David Austin roses are pictured as well.
“Never before have we published so much visual information on every variety we grow,” said Jose R. Azout, president of Alexandra Farms. “This is the most comprehensive guide there is to working with garden roses. A must for every florist, designer and event planner.”
