Louis Hymel, director of purchasing and marketing for Spice World Inc., headquartered in Orlando, FL, said the company has exhibited at the New York Produce Show & Conference since the first show in 2010.

Vince Consalo, president of Wm. Consalo & Sons Farms Inc., in Vineland, NJ, told The Produce News that the company, a major Northeast distributor of a full line of fruits and vegetables, will be attending the New York Produce Show.

“We are not exhibiting, but this show is a good opportunity for us to have face-to-face time with many of our customers and vendors,” said Mr. Consalo. “Almost everyone we run into at the event is someone we’ve crossed paths with in the past. It’s a great opportunity for us to network with people we know and to meet new ones.

“Duda Farm Fresh Foods has exhibited at the New York Produce Show & Conference since its inception two years ago, and this will be our third,” said Nichole Towell, marketing director for the Oviedo, FL-based company.

“Each year the show proves to be an even bigger success in terms of the foot traffic and types of people visiting. And each year we look forward to meeting with our existing customers in the Northeast and meeting new faces to formulate long lasting relationships,” she said.

“We will be showcasing our Organic garlic line at our exhibition booth, number 450, at the New York Produce Show and Convention in December,” said Anthony DeAngelis, directorof the Northeast division for Christopher Ranch LLC, which is headquartered in Gilroy, CA. We have exhibited at the New York show every year since its inception, and we enjoy the show. It provides us with a particular opportunity to reach key customers in the Northeast.”

“The New York Produce Show is a wonderful experience and it presents an opportunity to establish great relationships,” said Steven Dandrea, co-owner of family-owned-and-operated Dandrea Produce, a leading grower, packer and shipper of a full line of high-quality produce headquartered in Landisville, NJ. “We will be exhibiting at booth number 124. We feel that the timing of the show is convenient for exhibitors and visitors alike, and we look forward to once again seeing our customers and colleagues.”

Matthew D’Arrigo, vice president of D’Arrigo Bros. Co. of New York Inc., located at the Hunts Point Terminal Produce Market in the Bronx, NY, told The Produce News that he feels that the new New York Produce Show & Conference venue at Pier 94 on the west side of Manhattan will make for a superior setting.

“I have been to the pier for other events, and it’s a really nice place,” said Mr. D’Arrigo. “It has the Hudson River as a backdrop, and it’s next to the West Side Highway, which makes it very convenient for people who are driving in to reach.”
