ORLANDO, FL -- The Southeast Produce Council's 2014 Southern Exposure conference and trade show got under way Thursday, Feb. 27, with the annual golf tournament, which has been renamed the Tom Page Golf Classic. Close to 260 golfers registered this year, a record for the golf tournament, according to SPC Executive Director Terry Vorhees.

AB Acquisition LLC, which operates Albertson’s LLC and New Albertson’s Inc., announced that Rick Navarro, who had been the company’s chief financial officer since its inception in 2006, has been appointed chief administrative officer. Succeeding Navarro as the company’s CFO is Robert B. Dimond.
