Ready Pac expands sales leadership team
Irwindale, CA-based Ready Pac Produce announced the hiring of three new senior-level executives to strengthen its sales team.
Garry Granger joined Ready Pac as senior vice president of foodservice sales, Stephen Bonaro came on board in the newly created position of division vice president of retail sales for the Central Region, and Alan Ediger is now vice president of retail sales for the Western Division.
They will report directly to Allan Sabatier, executive vice president of sales and marketing.
Mr. Granger brings over 30 years of sales, marketing, operations and foodservice experience to Ready Pac. Most recently, he was with Fresh Express, where he was vice president of foodservice sales for the past 10 years and responsible for national accounts. Prior to that, he was chief operating officer for Custom Cuts Inc., where he led three fresh-cut vegetable processing plants in Wisconsin, Ohio and Missouri. Mr. Granger also served as general manager and vice president of sales and marketing for Fresh Advantage, as well as vice president of marketing and operations for Caro Produce.
Mr. Bonaro is a 25-year veteran of the produce and perishable foods industry. Formerly at Dole Fresh Vegetables for seven years, he managed the Dole Packaged Salads business with retail customers throughout the southern United States. Prior to joining Dole, Mr. Bonaro was senior vice president and regional director of perishable products during his 20-year tenure at Budd Mayer Food Brokerage in Tampa, FL.
Mr. Ediger most recently was with Fresh Express as the director of national accounts for Safeway, where he built a cross-functional team to manage the entire customer engagement process. During his 10 years with Fresh Express, he was also director of strategic planning and served as the region business manager for the West, overseeing business in five states.
