The International Fresh Produce Association announced the 20 recipients of the 2026 Retail Produce Manager Awards, recognizing their outstanding dedication to fresh produce, inventive merchandising, community engagement and exceptional customer service.

The award was presented July 14 during a special volunteer event and family produce distribution at Houston’s Marian Park Sunrise Center.

The U.S. Department of Agriculture has filed an administrative complaint against JS Cos. LLC. The company, operating from California, allegedly failed to make prompt payment to 14 produce sellers in the amount of $914,938 from January 2024 through July 2025 in violation of the Perishable Agricultural Commodities Act.

Following a busy day of field tours and educational sessions, attendees gathered for an opening reception to reconnect and mingle in a relaxed setting.
