Performant Scout celebrates successful first year
Performant Scout, an agribusiness search firm, is celebrating its first year in business. Partners Stacey Rouse and Vanessa Hall have a combined 14 years of experience working with growers, packers and shippers of fresh produce to find the best talent that makes a lasting impact. Now with an office in Miami, the company looks forward to continued rapid growth in 2017.
In addition to Rouse and Hall, Performant Scout features a team of recruiter consultants that place various levels of sales professionals — mid-management to executive level talent — across all functions with major produce players. The partners expect to hire additional recruiting consultants this year as the business grows.
“This first year has been exciting," Rouse said in a press release. "We are thankful for the key relationships that have made our business possible and are working to develop new relationships as we kick off the new year. Q1 and Q2 are traditionally quite active as candidates are most open to taking their careers to the next level.”
As Performant Scout looks to 2017, the team is focused on becoming the go-to resource for ag companies for tactical and strategic talent across functions such as sales, marketing, HR, operations, finance, IT and more. The new year is often a time that many clients evaluate opportunities to bring on new, dynamic talent. As a trusted partner, Performant Scout provides the invaluable service of identifying talent that will have the experience and be a seamless culture fit.
“We view ourselves as an extension of our clients, truly owning the process of attracting key game-changers that will make an impact to our clients bottom line, long-term," Hall said in the release. "We are creative, collaborative and customize our process to fit our diverse clients’ needs.”
Performant Scout was launched in August 2015 to take advantage of the partners’ years of experience and strategic collaboration. The company places candidates across the United States, Canada and Mexico.
Rouse began her career in 1998 working in various professional services industries such as construction/homebuilding and consumer goods. She has focused on agribusiness and food manufacturing since 2008. Hall began her recruiting career in 2007 starting in legal, light industrial and consumer goods industries. She has passionately focused on agribusiness and food manufacturing since 2012.
“Due to our focus in food production, we have a vast network of people across all functions that lead our team to exclusive contacts, referrals and candidates at the top of their game," Hall said in the release. "We have a strong pulse on the market and believe that the trust in the client relationship and communication is everything. We listen, have fun and continue to learn every day how to be better at what we do. We have a passion for sharing opportunities with others and get excited when we get to create win-wins for our clients and candidates.”
