Sarah Baskins joins Rivermaid Trading Co. as sales and procurement representative
Rivermaid Trading Co. has welcomed Sarah Baskins as its newest sales and procurement representative. With deep roots in family farming, a robust educational background and a proven track record in agriculture, Baskins brings a wealth of experience and leadership to her role.
Baskins has previously held positions with AgIS Capital and served as an adjunct agribusiness instructor at both Merced Community College and California State University, Stanislaus. Her active involvement in the agricultural community and her expertise will be a tremendous asset to Rivermaid’s grower network and customer base.
In her new role, Baskins will oversee domestic retail accounts for Rivermaid’s California cherry and pear programs, while also assisting with fruit procurement for the company’s e-commerce-focused sister company, The Gifting Co. This dual focus underscores Rivermaid’s commitment to delivering top-tier produce and nurturing strong partnerships throughout the supply chain.
Baskins earned her bachelor’s degree in agricultural economics from California State University, Stanislaus, and an MBA from California Baptist University. Her robust academic foundation and industry experience make her a valuable addition to the Rivermaid team as it continues to grow and innovate.
“We’re thrilled to have Sarah on board,” said Justin Bloss, Rivermaid's sales and marketing manager. “Her experience and education are a perfect fit for what we’re all about — supporting our growers and delivering industry-leading fruit and service to our customers.”
