Liberty Fruit golf tourney registration in full swing
Liberty Fruit’s Annual Golf Tourney will be in full swing Sept. 16 at the Tiffany Greens Golf Club in Kansas City, MO. The tourney continues to generate important donations to Children’s Mercy Hospital and other local charitable organizations.
“Last year we netted $480,000 for our charities,” said President Allen Caviar. “This year will be another successful tournament.”
The Caviar family has been fully committed to this event since its inception more than a decade ago. “I believe in giving back to the community,” said Arnold Caviar, chief executive officer.
The website, www.libertyfruitgolftournament.com, contains videos explaining the history of the tournament and the ways in which the donations further the cause of medical research that benefits children.
A special Bountiful Harvest Research video contains a personal message from Mr. Caviar and his wife, Carol, about the effect medical research had in saving the life of their daughter, Allison.
Tee time is at 10 a.m. A special gourmet buffet sponsored by Texas Roadhouse will begin at approximately 4:30 p.m. Tournament event and raffle prizes will be presented after the dinner.
“Visit our website for registration and more details,” said Allen Caviar. The website provides a recap of the 2012 tourney and contains a registration link for this year’s event.
