Wada Farms teams up with grower-shipper Worley & McCullough

Wada Farms Marketing Group of Idaho Falls, ID, is teaming up with Worley & McCullough, a fourth-generation potato grower-shipper in Colorado's San Luis Valley.

Worley & McCullough will continue to operate its packingshed under its current name; however, under the partnership arrangement Wada will conduct the sales and marketing.

"Looking to the future, we realized we needed a strong sales and marketing effort if we wanted to continue to grow and compete in the potato industry," Jim McCullough said in a company press release. "Wada Farms, with its experienced staff and strong customer base, provide us with that opportunity. We are eager to partner with such a longstanding quality marketing firm as Wada Farms Marketing Group."

This joint venture brings two sturdy businesses together at a pivotal time providing strong strategic growth opportunities.

"This new partnership will significantly enhance our ability to source and supply high quality russets in support of our already strong Idaho potato program and we are excited about that," Bob Meek, chief executive officer of Wada Farms Marketing Group, said in the press release.
