"By removing the pit, we've made Medjools the ideal snack for everyone — even young kids without parental supervision. We think this will be a great benefit to busy, health-conscious families."
To ensure optimum quality, Natural Delights Medjool dates are handpicked and electronically color sorted. Prewashed, they can be enjoyed straight from the package.
"Natural Delights Pitted Medjool Dates are also available with peanut butter dipping sauce," Mr. Anderson said in the release. "This exciting new combination complements other Medjool date snack offerings including dates covered in coconut, chopped pistachio nuts and almonds."
One of the country's top-selling brands of Medjool dates, "Natural Delights" are available at more than half the supermarkets in the U.S., and at select Sam's Club, Costco and Walmart locations.
