Colorful Harvest adds to Florida strawberry program
Colorful Harvest, a grower-shipper of a full line of berries, vegetables and melons based in Salinas, CA, announced the hiring of Jeremy Burris as its new vice president for sales and sourcing for its Florida division.
The addition of Mr. Burris is the latest in a series of moves to expand a successful Florida produce operation. Mr. Burris brings over 10 years of experience in the strawberry industry, having worked as vice president of sales

"The addition of someone with Jeremy's experience and first-hand knowledge of the Florida strawberry and vegetable industry will help to add depth to our already successful year round Florida strawberry and veg program," Doug Ranno, chief operating officer of Colorful Harvest, said in a press release.
With strawberry operations and dedicated cooling facilities in Florida, California and Mexico, Colorful Harvest is able to sustain a year-round national strawberry program. The company's Florida growing operations have also diversified to include a variety of vegetable crops, such as sweet red corn, beans, squash and cucumbers to complement its line of unusually colorful heirloom style vegetables, such as Ruby Jewel sweet red corn; orange, purple and green cauliflower; and multi-hued Rainbow Crunch carrots.
