Boskovich Farms featuring current foodservice packs at PMA expo
Boskovich Farms Inc. in Oxnard, CA, will be showcasing its current line of foodservice packs, including salad mixes, coleslaw mix, herbs, mixed vegetables and fresh cut apples, at the Produce Marketing Association Foodservice Conference & Exposition in Monterey, CA, July 20-22.
Russ Widerburg, sales manager, will help man the Boskovich Farms booth, as will Mike O’Leary, vice president of sales and marketing, fresh cut division; Don Hobson, vice president of sales and marketing, and Stuart Burke, sales representative.“Mike O’Leary, vice president of sales and marketing, fresh cut division, Don Hobson, vice president of sales and marketing, Russ Widerburg, sales manager and Stuart Burke, sales representative, will be at our booth, number 146, at the show,” said Lindsay Martinez, director of marketing for the company.
Boskovich Farms is a family-owned-and-operated grower-shipper. It grows on more than 10,000 acres in California and in Mexico, producing about 30 vegetable crops year round. The company also has shipping points in Salinas, CA, and Yuma, AZ. The company’s product line includes a wide variety of fresh produce. Its processing division, Boskovich Fresh Cut, provides a diverse line of retail and foodservice items.
“Our foodservice customers are spread across North America,” said Ms. Martinez. “They include high end restaurants, family-style, quick-service and fast food chains. We also sell to institutions such as the military, schools and hospitals, and to distributors and food manufacturers.”
