Pure Flavor brings southeast-grown innovation to Southern Exposure
As the Southeast produce industry gears up for the Southern Exposure show in Orlando, FL, Pure Flavor is heading to the event with a portfolio full of fresh innovation and a commitment to regional agriculture. With recent expansions in Georgia and a focus on growing food close to market, the company is showcasing how Southeast-grown produce can deliver quality, flavor, and consistency that retailers and shoppers trust.
One of the highlights at this year’s show will be the introduction of Organic Long English Cucumbers to Pure Flavor’s Georgia-grown lineup. Cultivated in a protected greenhouse environment, these cucumbers combine crisp texture, peak freshness, and consistent quality. A clear “Georgia Grown” designation ensures that retailers and shoppers alike can connect their produce with locally grown.
“Expanding our Georgia operations gives us the chance to demonstrate the value of growing food close to home,” said Matt Mastronardi, Executive Vice President. “With the addition of Organic Long English Cucumbers, we’re not only offering premium produce, but reinforcing our commitment to Southeast agriculture and the communities we serve.”
Beyond its diverse product lineup, Pure Flavor is investing in the Southeast to strengthen regional agriculture. The company recently completed a 25-acre expansion of its Southern Flavor Farms greenhouse in Peach County, Georgia, increasing production capacity and supporting local jobs. These strategic investments give Southeast retailers greater access to fresh, reliable vegetables throughout the year.
“As growers deeply rooted in the Southeast, we take pride in supporting local agriculture, creating jobs, and supplying produce close to where it will be enjoyed,” Mastronardi said. “With additional acreage planned, we’re focused on long-term growth, sustainability, and delivering the consistency that builds trust for retailers and shoppers alike.”
Southern Exposure will also spotlight Pure Flavor’s fan favorites, including Cherry Picked™ tomatoes, a premium medley of hand-picked specialty varieties that include sweet red cherry Azuca Tomatoes, tropical Tiki Tomatoes®, and citrusy OMG Tomatoes®. Other crowd-pleasers like Rocco Reds®, known as The Chef’s Tomato®, and Cloud 9® grape tomatoes will bring bold color, robust flavor, and juicy sweetness to the table. These products reflect Pure Flavor’s focus on delivering produce that stands out in both taste and visual appeal.
The Southern Exposure show offers more than just an opportunity to showcase produce—it provides a platform for meaningful connections. For Pure Flavor, these face-to-face interactions with retailers, distributors, and suppliers are critical for exchanging insights and understanding customer needs.
“Southern Exposure allows us to hear directly from the retailers we serve,” Mastronardi explained. “These conversations help shape our innovation, strengthen partnerships, and ensure that our growth in the Southeast is guided by the needs of the community.”
Representatives from Pure Flavor, including Matt Mastronardi, Executive Vice President, Tiffany Sabelli, Senior Director of Sales, and Mike Glass, Director of Sales, will be at booth #125 to meet attendees, answer questions, and highlight Pure Flavor’s feature items.
With a combination of new products, fan favorites, and ongoing investment in Southeast agriculture, Pure Flavor continues to demonstrate that growing close to home doesn’t just benefit local communities, it delivers fresh, flavorful, and consistent produce that shoppers love. At Southern Exposure, the company will show just how Southeast growers can make a big impact on the produce industry, one premium product at a time.
