Letchworth was raised in Central Florida, where hospitality is a way of life. On his family land, he’s known for hosting Friday night fish fries with as many as 30 or 40 guests. An avid outdoorsman, he often serves his day’s catch, along with wild oysters, alligator and frog legs. 

Relationships still mean everything in produce, and Letchworth gives his all to customers. He’s great at keeping them informed in a supply chain that changes quickly. 

“People don’t mind bad news,” he likes to 

say. “They mind surprises.”

He’ll even call in a favor if it can keep things running smoothly. Since joining the produce business as a teen, he’s made and kept a lot of friends. 

“With the relationships I have across the East Coast, I can reach out to suppliers, trucking contacts or help with logistics issues,” said Letchworth.
