NEPC appoints Jodie Reardon as president, announces executive board and director appointments
The New England Produce Council Inc. has announced the appointment of Jodie Reardon as president, marking a historic milestone as the first female president in the organization’s history. NEPC also announced several executive board and director appointments that will support the council’s continued growth and leadership within the produce industry.
Reardon brings more than 24 years of experience in the produce industry. She began her career as an assistant buyer at Ahold USA before spending a decade as a buyer at Whole Foods Market. For the past eight years, she has held leadership roles at Albertsons, most recently serving the last four years as director of replenishment.
“I’m excited to step into the role of NEPC president and am committed to contributing meaningfully to the council’s continued success,” Reardon said on Jan. 23.
Outside of her professional career, Reardon enjoys golfing, reading and spending time with her husband, Jon, and their two dogs, Hank and Eddie.
NEPC also announced that Keith Frosceno of Big Y has been appointed first vice president. Frosceno has been actively involved with NEPC for more than 20 years as both a member and board member and now joins the executive board. He brings extensive industry experience and leadership to help guide the council.
“I am truly grateful to serve as first vice president of the New England Produce Council board of directors,” he said. “The NEPC plays a vital role in our industry, and I’m proud to contribute to its continued growth and success.”
In addition, NEPC welcomed four newly appointed directors to its board: Becky Fanion of BJ’s Wholesale Club, Anthony Savino of Hannaford Supermarkets, Jeremy Bunker of Bozzuto’s Inc. and Jon Storm of C&S Wholesale Grocers Inc.
Fanion has nearly nine years of experience in the produce industry. She began her career at Stop & Shop in 2017 as an assistant category manager on the value-added produce desk and was promoted to category manager in 2019. After a brief hiatus selling beer for Molson Coors in 2024, she joined BJ’s Wholesale Club in June 2025 as a produce category merchant, where she manages packaged salads, tomatoes, apples and other produce categories.
Storm is the senior director of produce procurement and merchandising for C&S Wholesale Grocers Inc., overseeing buying, inventory management and independent merchandising across the company network. Since joining C&S in 2005 as a buyer, Storm has played a key role in customer startups and major warehouse realignments. He holds a bachelor’s degree from St. Lawrence University and an MBA from Clarkson University.
Bunker is a produce merchandising manager at Bozzuto’s Inc., where he leads sales strategy, marketing execution and team development for independent retailers. He brings more than 25 years of experience across retail, produce operations, merchandising and leadership roles, with a strong record of driving growth and building high-performing teams.
Savino is currently a category manager for value-added produce with Hannaford Supermarkets. He has spent more than 20 years with Hannaford, including the last decade in the produce division, and brings deep category expertise and operational insight to the NEPC board.
NEPC looks forward to the leadership, insight and continued dedication of its newly appointed officers and directors as the council advances its mission and supports the produce industry throughout New England.
