CalFlowers announces Fun ’N Sun 2026 with steady pricing and more for 85th anniversary
CalFlowers announced details for its Fun ’N Sun 2026 Floral Convention, scheduled for Aug. 5–8, 2026, at The Langham Huntington in Pasadena.
In celebration of CalFlowers’ 85th anniversary, the convention will feature the theme “A Legacy in Bloom – 85 Years of Floral Excellence,” highlighting the organization’s history, creativity and future within the floral industry.
CalFlowers said registration and exhibit pricing will remain unchanged from 2024, a move intended to support accessibility and encourage participation across the floral supply chain.
“Holding pricing steady for 2026 reflects our commitment to making Fun ’N Sun welcoming and accessible to everyone in the floral community,” said Lane DeVries. “As we celebrate 85 years as an association, we want growers, wholesalers, retailers, designers, educators and partners to come together and experience this milestone event without the barrier of rising costs.”
The 2026 convention will offer expanded programming, including exclusive industry tours and enhanced educational opportunities.
Planned tours include guided visits to The Original Los Angeles Flower Market and the Southern California Flower Market, providing behind-the-scenes access to daily operations, product diversity and the history of the floral district. Attendees will also have the opportunity to tour Fiesta Productions Inc., offering a look at the design, engineering and floral artistry behind Pasadena’s Rose Parade floats.
Educational programming will include refreshed and expanded sessions designed to support professionals across all segments of the floral industry. The lineup will feature expert-led presentations, interactive discussions and learning experiences tailored to current and emerging industry needs. Specific sessions and speakers will be announced at a later date.
Registration pricing, unchanged from 2024, is set at $795 for early bird registration, $895 for regular registration and $995 for on-site registration. Registration will open in mid-April 2026.
Exhibitor pricing will also remain unchanged, with single booths priced at $1,750, double booths at $2,600 and tabletop spaces at $975. Booth registration opens Jan. 21, 2026.
A hotel room block at The Langham Huntington will be available at $299 per night, plus tax, resort fee and parking. The room block will open in mid-April 2026.
CalFlowers also announced the return of the AIFD design team from 2024, led by Susan Ayala, who will help shape the visual experience of the anniversary event.
“The 85th anniversary is an extraordinary moment for our association,” said Robin van der Schaaf, vice chair of CalFlowers. “Fun ’N Sun 2026 will honor our past, elevate the present and inspire the future of floral artistry and collaboration.”
