Setton Pistachio celebrates record 2025 harvest
Setton Pistachio of Terra Bella Inc. announced another record-breaking pistachio harvest, contributing to an industry total of 1.571 billion pounds. Setton, which offers one of the largest assortments of pistachio SKUs on the market, is prepared to meet rising demand with more product available than ever.
“We processed more pistachios than ever this season,” said Jeff Gibbons, senior director of grower services and farming at Setton Pistachio. “The crop maturity timing, combined with our increased processing capacity, facilitated quick turnaround times at Setton’s processing facilities.”
Demand for pistachios continues to outpace current industry production. With expanded processing capabilities across five facilities — including a new hulling plant in Zamora, Calif. — Setton is positioned for continued growth and industry leadership. The company is welcoming new growers to join its network.
“With additional capacity from our new Zamora hulling facility, along with other plant expansion efforts, Setton is now better equipped than ever to expand our grower network,” said Harris Lee Cohen, general manager at Setton Pistachio. “We are excited to extend our partnership opportunities to further support the industry and Setton’s legacy.”
Setton offers an extensive lineup of premium pistachio snacks, from classic roasts to bold flavors, and emphasizes high-quality ingredients. Pistachios, considered a modern-day superfood, provide six grams of plant-based protein per serving along with antioxidants and lutein for eye health. They are also a complete protein, containing all nine essential amino acids the body cannot produce.
