Food solutions company SpartanNash, a member of the C&S Wholesale Grocers family of companies, recently celebrated the grand opening of its fifth Supermercado Nuestra Familia location, expanding the retail banner into Topeka, KS. Opening just in time for holiday grocery shopping, the 50,000-square-foot store brings Hispanic flavors and culture to the Highland Crest, Central Highland Park, Oakland and other neighborhoods in southeast Topeka.

The Topeka Supermercado Nuestra Familia, located at 2021 SE 29th Street, offers a vibrant, market-style shopping experience featuring:

The grand opening celebration featured a live mariachi performance, a local dance group, children’s activities, product sampling and giveaways. As part of the festivities, the store team presented a $5,000 donation to Highland Park High School, reinforcing SpartanNash’s commitment to education and community development.
Later this month, SpartanNash will celebrate the grand opening of its sixth Supermercado Nuestra Familia, introducing a smaller-format, convenience-focused grocery experience in Omaha, NE, as part of its growing portfolio of stores designed to deliver the ingredients for a better life.
