IPC will promote beautiful crop in an ugly way at NYPS
The Idaho Potato Commission is known for the fun and creative ways it promotes the Gem State’s prized potatoes, but at this year’s New York Produce Show, things will get downright ugly.
“The IPC booth (No. 569) is a must-see this year,” said Ross Johnson, vice president of retail and international at the IPC. “We will be talking about the results of holiday sales, Potato Lovers Month and foodservice incentives — all while wearing some very cringe-worthy ugly sweaters.”
Johnson said Idaho has the best quality crop it has seen in years, and retailers are encouraged to take advantage of all that IPC has to offer.
“Our field directors are equipped with in-depth knowledge about the Idaho crop, regional market trends and have the power to really help businesses succeed with incentives to help the front-line workers,” said Johnson. “Whether you are helping us move some volume through the foodservice channel or the retail channel, we are prepared to provide some insights to help you achieve your goals. Be sure to stop by booth No. 569, where all the fun will be.”
