Frieda's again offering Donut peaches
Los Alamitos, CA-based Frieda's Inc. is offering its popular Donut peaches again this year, and to support the product and maximize sales during the eight-week window of availability, the company will be offering new point-of-purchase kits for retailers.
"Every year we look forward to Donut peach season, and so do all our clients," said Tristan Millar, vice president of sales and marketing for Friedas. This season were especially excited about our new p-o-p kits that will really draw shoppers to the Donut peach displays and provide them with all they need to know to enjoy this delicious fruit.
Friedas introduced Donut peaches in 1986, and the item has become the companys top-selling fruit despite the brief season.
Donut peaches are now available in two-layer 30-, 36-, 40-, 48-, 56- and 64-count cases, coming from California from mid-June to late July, and from Washington from mid-July to August.
