Natural Grocers all in for Organic Month with discounts, education and fundraiser
Natural Grocers is raising awareness of Organic Month with sales on organic products, community education and fundraising efforts with Rodale Institute. Customers can learn more about the organic food movement and save big while trying new organic recipes, 100 percent organic produce and other organic offerings throughout their local store.
"Organic has been at the heart of Natural Grocers since day one," said Raquel Isely, vice president of marketing. "We advocated for organic agriculture long before it was officially regulated by the USDA, because nourishing people and protecting the planet were never trends — they were (and still are) our values. That's why we carry only 100 percent organic produce in our stores.
"Organic Month is one of our favorite times of the year because it brings together two things we care deeply about: quality and accessibility," said Isely. "We love showing that organic products aren't just friendlier for people, animals and the planet — they can also be budget-friendly. With our Always Affordable Prices and our four-day deals, we invite everyone to celebrate with us and discover that organic living is practical, affordable and within reach."
From Sept. 5 through Sept. 27, customers can take advantage of special savings on products that reflect Natural Grocers' dedication to organic practices. The retailer is offering customers extra shopping incentives Sept. 10–13 with in-store savings of up to 41 off a variety of organic products, plus free samples.
Natural Grocers announced a partnership with Rodale Institute — a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that has been dedicated to growing the regenerative organic agricultural movement for over 78 years — in September 2024 and has since held two in-store fundraisers dedicated to growing the regenerative organic agricultural movement with Rodale Institute. Through September, customers can join Natural Grocers in directly contributing to Rodale Institute's Farmer Training programs and supporting the next generation of regenerative organic farmers.
"The Institute is honored to celebrate Organic Month with Natural Grocers and its customers," said Rodale Institute CEO Jeff Tkach. "Investments in our nonprofit's work fuel a future food system built on healthy soil and grown by expert regenerative organic farmers who contribute to wellness in their communities."
Natural Grocers aims to raise $100,000 by Sept. 30.
