Wada Farms provides end-to-end supply chain solutions for customers
Eric Beck, director of marketing for Wada Farms, is excited to be headed to the Southeast Produce Council’s Southern Exposure show this year, noting it offers an invaluable opportunity to connect with industry leaders, explore the latest trends in produce and foster relationships that could lead to potential collaborations and partnerships.
Joining Beck at the show will be members of the Wada team, including Kevin Stanger, president; Joe Esta, vice president; and Stephanie Bench of the sales team.
“Our team will be well prepared and ready to engage during the show,” Beck said. “Through a targeted approach, we will be meeting with key prospects, industry influencers and other attendees to maximize opportunities that forge lasting connections for future growth at Wada Farms.”
Wada Farms, one of America’s largest grower-shippers or fresh potatoes, onions and sweet potatoes, will be at booth No. 106 at SEPC.
“Attendees will be able to see an assortment of our product portfolio that we offer, as well as, have conversations on how we can provide end-to-end supply chain solutions,” Beck said. “Our attention to detail and high level of execution is what sets us apart to be one of the best in the industry.”
One of the best things about SEPC is that it’s always a good venue for networking and Wada plans to take advantage of the time it will get to spend with people at its booth and around the show floor.
“It is an essential component for building relationships, discuss business opportunities, collaborate on new ideas and forge a strong network that can help build confidence and trust in the Wada brand,” Beck said. “You get out of SEPC what you put into it. If you focus on engaging with those around you and making yourself available to collaborate, then the potential for positive dividends greatly increases.”
Beck also appreciated how SEPC does a good job of bringing in very talented people to speak at this show.
“Their expertise and insights promise to bring valuable perspectives to the produce industry,” he said.
Among the big talking points at SEC that the Wada team expects to talk about this year are emerging trends in sustainable agriculture, the growing demand for supply chain transparency, the future of AI in the produce industry and possible impacts to the import/export produce market with pending tariffs from the new administration.
“Wada has been attending SEPC for many years, and it remains an important part of our trade show schedule,” Beck said. “SEPC provides a venue that brings a diverse array of professionals from across the produce industry for invaluable networking opportunities and new business development.”
Another topic will be Wada’s plans for the year ahead, which includes expanding its supply chain footprint to provide further value to its customers.
“We strive to be that ‘end-to-end’ solution and ‘one-stop shop’ that helps retail and foodservice professionals succeed,” Beck said.
