Supreme Cuts receives AIB's 'Superior' rating
Supreme Cuts LLC, a premier processor and distributor of high-quality pre- cut vegetables based in Mahwah, NJ, has received a "Superior" from the American Institute of Baking during its recent food-safety audit.
The audit, which is conducted by specially trained food-safety auditors, analyzed all aspects of the company's food-safety practices and awarded Supreme Cuts the prestigious rating based on the company's outstanding programs and practices in place, as well as its commitment to providing safe, high-quality products to consumers.
A rating of "Superior" is the highest level awarded by the institute and it highlights the company's continuing dedication to food safety. It also is a significant recognition of the company's outstanding food-safety practices and programs.
Supreme Cuts currently offers a full selection of high-quality, fresh-cut vegetables for both the retail and foodservice markets.
"Being awarded a rating of 'Superior' is major achievement, and we're extremely proud to have been honored with this important rating by AIB," Merle Axelrod, president of Supreme Cuts, said in a press release. "Supreme Cuts remains dedicated to adhering to all food-safety regulations, and we're pleased to be recognized for our efforts in providing our customers with the high-quality fresh produce that they have come to expect from our company."
