WILMINGTON, DE -- The Produce for Better Health Foundation has announced the appointment of Theresa Kaufmann as its new manager of development.
"Ms. Kaufmann has served in the fund development area of the foundation for the past two years, and we are very excited to welcome her into this new role," Elizabeth Pivonka, the foundation's president and chief executive officer, said in an April 7 statement. "Her overall skill set, including her outstanding interpersonal skills and commitment to our mission, will continue to be a true asset to us as she moves into this new position."
Prior to joining the Produce for Better Health Foundation, Ms. Kaufmann worked with Albert's Organics and Metals USA. Her promotion to manager of development is effective immediately. She replaces Claudia Wenzing, who recently resigned.
"I enjoy the environment at PBH and really believe in the foundation's mission of leading people to eat more fruits and vegetables because it matters for their better health," Ms. Kaufmann said in the statement. "I look forward to working more closely with members of the industry. I've talked with many of them by phone in the past two years and look forward to meeting them in person."
Ms. Kaufman and her husband, Lance, live in Salem, NJ.
