Fragoso new marketing manager at Coast Produce
Coast Produce Co. in Los Angeles has hired Emily (Marlephansakul) Fragoso to be its new marketing manager.
She joins the Coast team after six years with the Fresh Produce & Floral Council, where she began as membership development director and event coordinator and rose through the ranks to become vice president and executive vice president.
Ms. Fragoso's role at Coast will include duties from company branding to category management. She will be instrumental in developing various programs such as a locally grown campaign and re-launching Coast's ethnic brands. She will continue to reinforce Coast Produce Co. as an industry leader and strategically map its marketing efforts.
Jin Ju Wilder, president of Coast Produce, said in a press release, "We are very fortunate to have Emily join the Coast Produce team. The company will immediately benefit from her strong communication skills and her creativity. Attention to our brand messaging and ensuring consistency through all of our customer contact points will be one of her priorities. Ms. Fragoso may have began her career in the produce industry with the FPFC, but she has an established communications foundation with a bachelor's degree in communications with an emphasis on public relations and a master's degree in American studies from California State University- Fullerton. Coast has given her the opportunity to continue prospering in the communication field and within the produce industry.
