NPD and Fusion announce alliance
Fusion Marketing, a Los Angeles-based full-service marketing company, and the NPD Group, a New York-based international consumer research firm, announced the formation of a perishables industry-focused alliance.
"This new relationship between the NPD Group and Fusion Marketing offers unprecedented levels of consumer information and marketing insights for the entire perishables industry," Steven Muro, president of Fusion Marketing, said in a press release. "We are excited to align with the world leader in consumer research on foods and beverages, the NPD Group. We believe it is important to continually bring diverse, unique and valuable consumer insights to our clients and the industry as a whole. This accomplishes that aim."
"NPD has been tracking what Americans really eat and drink, rather than what they say they do, for close to 30 years. This relationship allows us to team with the perishables experts at Fusion Marketing to bring even deeper and more actionable consumer insights for this industry," Arnie Schwartz, president of NPD's Food & Beverage practice, added in the press release.
Fusion Marketing has engaged with clients in the produce industry for more than a decade. In addition to its deep roots in produce, it has broad-based consumer packaged goods expertise that enables it to build new and diverse capabilities for its clientele.
